Michael Vick Fights and Kills Dogs

Yes that headline speaks for itself.  I just wanted to use this story as my first story on celebrities with anger problems.  At first when I first heard of the story of Michael Vick fighting dogs for sport, I thought it was okay and didn’t really see what the big deal was.  I was telling friends that it didn’t make sense to me that he was getting into trouble for something that many people across the world did as a sport.  Fighting dogs to me was like fighting roosters or boxers boxing.  It was just another sport and it shouldn’t be illegal in my opinion.

Then as the story unfolded and more details were being released about Michael Vick’s anger problems it started to gross me out.  In addition to fighting dogs, Michael Vick would slaughter and abuse his dogs in inhumane ways.  He would take his dogs and drown them or tortured them with electric shock and hanging.

The things Michael Vick did puts him up there with OJ Simpson as someone who has horrible anger problems.  It’s really hard to forgive someone that tortures animals for the sheer pleasure of doing it.  Remember I’m not against dog fighting, I am against those that beats the crap out of dogs for no good reason.

Well Vick got sent to prison for it and he’s now out of jail.  Well just a few months out of jail, Vick is back to playing football.  Should this be okay with our society?  I personally think once a person serves their time, they should be forgiven and allow to assimilate back into society.  So I think it’s cool that he’s back to playing football.  I just hope he learns from the past and does not go back to his old ways.  I truly hope he proves the many that thinks he’s still got anger problems and would never change.

Only time will tell, but right now Michael Vick is looking like a model citizen with the help of Tony Dungy.  Don’t let your old anger problems come back Michael VICK!!  I’m rooting for you man.

Somebody has rightly said that the biggest demon in this world is ‘Anger’.  Anger has ruined the life of many top notch celebrities and the ones whose lives have been ruined can always be found speaking how they were not able to control their anger and ended up ruining their lives. Anger is a disease which if left uncured can be a serious menace. Life in the 21st century is very difficult which requires huge amount of dedication and perseverance towards our work and we end up hating our work and this hatred comes out in the form of anger.

Various seminars and workshops are held throughout the world discussing the side effects of anger problems and people attend the seminars in huge numbers which goes on to show that a huge chunk of our population has already realized that anger is an important reason for their increasing health problems. Anger not only causes a lot of diseases like high blood pressure, depression, heart attack etc. but it is also a major reason for the number of divorces that happen all around the world.

Anger should be controlled before it starts to control us. To control anger, one must consult a psychiatrist who can offer professional help. Apart from that, one can practice yoga on a regular basis. Yoga has been proven to cure anger problems for thousands of years. It has been scientifically proven that yoga is indeed helpful in anger management and curing anger problems. One can also follow laughter therapy i.e. waking up early and laughing one’s heart out till one gets tired.

One should definitely get help for anger problems because we should preserve our health in this materialistic world. If we give two hours daily towards anger management then we can definitely expect a longer and healthier life. If we are in good health, then we can live a better life without any distress.
